CTCYM Students and Staff Assist CIA

In July, CTCYM (Central Texas Christian Youth Ministries) brought 35 youth and 15 adult sponsors to assist home repairs for CIA project homes and other houses. The teams spent Monday through Thursday painting, repairing concrete porches, constructing privacy fencing, cleaning yards filled with years of collections and in general, bringing encouragement to many aging or disabled residents in Cleburne and surrounding communities. The group stayed in facilities at Cleburne's First United Methodist Church where the sponsors housed and fed the youth, including sack lunches so they wouldn't have to leave the various sites to eat lunch.

Much appreciation goes to these groups who came from the DFW area, Waco and further south. They accomplished so much in the four days and left with a happy feeling of giving of themselves. Great job, sponsors and youth!
